• We make a Visual inspection of the premises (inside & outside) to evaluate the mold problem.
• We then collect samples (air &/or surface) of affected areas as needed or requested by our client.
• The collected samples are sent overnight to our laboratory provider.
• A mold report, complete with lab results are supplied to you as soon as the the lab analysis is complete.
  
  As a matter of integrity, we DO NOT perform mold remediation. We consider this a conflict of interest. We only provide testing.

There are many reasons to perform mold testing.

• To secure a baseline for testing in the future. The progress of mold abatement activities can then be tracked and evaluated by a mold professional.

• Establishing the presence of mold and if remediation should be considered.

• Identifying the types of mold that are present. Certain mold species may cause serious illness to infants and the elderly & people who have weakened immune systems, or sensitive to allergens. Consult your physician for information on your specific health requirements.

• Finding the mold levels that are present. Although mold is mold, and its presence calls for remediation, it is useful to know if the ambient airborne levels are in a range of thousands, or hundreds of thousands. For example, this may affect decisions regarding the timeliness of remediation, and the continued occupancy of the premises.

• Often mold is not visible in a house. Water intrusion or a moldy odor provides cause for concern. Even when there is no visible mold growth, testing will identify if there is a mold problem.

• To confirm that elevated levels of mold are not present in the home for a home purchase. A buyer may have concerns about mold when purchasing a new home. Peace of mind that there are no problems with elevated airborne mold in the new house can be confirmed with a mold test.

• Flooding in homes can provide ideal conditions for mold growth. When the cleanup is done, it recommended to test for mold to assure mold growth is not present.
